Job Title: Customer Envoy

Location: Govan, Glasgow

Salary: £24,000 - £25,500 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:15am – 15:45pm.  Friday 07:15 – 14:15pm (38.5hrs per week

Contract: Temporary, with a chance of perm

Full UK Drivers Licence Required

As a Customer Envoy you are responsible for completing a variation of tasks from manually loading cages onto your vehicle, delivering of stock onto the customer site, unloading/checking in/put-away of stock to maintain appropriate inventory levels and assist the customer on any additional requests. You’re focus will be on ensuring that the correct materials and quantities are replenished as requested by the customer, paying special attention whilst working on site to represent the organisation in a professional manner.

A comprehensive training programme is in place for all new associates to ensure competence & safety.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

Driving

  • Delivering to our customer site, manual lifting required to replenish customer stock
  • Working independently
  • Manually unloading cages full of stock onto the customer site
  • Replenishment of inventory - using the hand-held scanner
  • Adopting the businesses ‘One Team’ approach and supporting other areas of the operation if occasionally required.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy working environment & maintenance of 5S standards.
  • Adhere to any given request whilst on the customer site.

Person Specification:

  • Educated to a good standard.
  • Experience of working in a warehousing environment is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of using IT equipment in a workplace environment.
  • Experience of using a hand-held scanner
  • Open to change and adaptable, with a capacity and willingness to learn.
  • Must pass a Scotland discloser check and customers baseline security.
  • Clean driving license
  • Forklift license would be beneficial.
