Medical Sales Representative
(Part time 3 days per week)
Scotland and Northern Ireland

Our client is a privately held pharmaceutical and healthcare company, who provide products and services to groups of patients with specialised or unmet medical needs. An innovative and growing organisation they have products in a variety of therapy areas, including Clinical Nutrition and Sexual Health.
This is a role covering hospitals (and some primary care customers) throughout the Strategic Health Authorities in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Customers include Consultants, Specialist Registrars, Hospital Pharmacists, Specialist GPs, (GPs), Prescribing Pharmacists (or equivalent title) and where appropriate Midwives, Health Visitors and Nurses.
Working an average of 3 days per week, you will need to be willing to flex which days you work to meet the business needs with a total number of working days across the year equating to 137 days (after deduction of holidays)
Key Responsibilities include:
- Achieving objectives and sales targets outlined in the territory business plan and agreed with Commercial UK at the beginning of the year and updated quarterly through the cycle brief
- Ensuring that the business potential of the territory geography as a totality is optimised
- Promote and sell products as outlined in the cycle
- Promote the portfolio of products through macro influencing formulary groupings as appropriate including: national and regional formularies, area prescribing committees, hospital trust formularies, Health boards and occasionally, GP practices
- Find, develop and network a core group of key opinion leaders as well key decision makers in both the hospital and primary care environments

An experienced Pharmaceutical Representative with considerable secondary care experience and evidence of formulary inclusions
Experience working with ICBs
Strong Account Management Skills
