iMultiply are working exclusively with a dynamic start-up organisation in Glasgow as they seek an interim Payroll Specialist for an initial period of 6 months. The right person will be someone who is able to help shape and streamline their payroll processes as we continue to scale.
Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across weekly and monthly pay cycles
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, including RTI submissions, PAYE, NI, and pensions
- Process employee expenses and benefits, maintaining accurate records
- Handle payroll queries and provide guidance to employees on payroll-related matters
- Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and process improvements
- Work collaboratively with HR and finance teams to enhance payroll systems and policies
- Experience in payroll processing, ideally within a fast-paced or start-up environment
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and auto-enrolment pensions
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Xero, Sage, BrightPay, or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
- A proactive mindset with a passion for improving processes
- Salary eqv to up to £35,000
