iMultiply are working exclusively with a dynamic start-up organisation in Glasgow as they seek an interim Payroll Specialist for an initial period of 6 months. The right person will be someone who is able to help shape and streamline their payroll processes as we continue to scale.

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across weekly and monthly pay cycles
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, including RTI submissions, PAYE, NI, and pensions
  • Process employee expenses and benefits, maintaining accurate records
  • Handle payroll queries and provide guidance to employees on payroll-related matters
  • Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and process improvements
  • Work collaboratively with HR and finance teams to enhance payroll systems and policies
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in payroll processing, ideally within a fast-paced or start-up environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and auto-enrolment pensions
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Xero, Sage, BrightPay, or similar)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for improving processes
