Job Title: Gas Engineer
Location: Glasgow
Salary: 43,000 Per annum
In this role, one will be responsible for completing maintenance and reactive repairs on gas equipment and associated plant on-site. You will also act as the appointed person for gas on the contract, ensuring all gas-related operations meet statutory requirements and are completed efficiently.
This position is a static role covering a educational campus in the Glasgow City Centre, limited parking is available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform statutory inspections and reactive repairs on gas appliances and associated plant.
- Oversee annual maintenance and auditing of gas networks and gas maintenance across sites.
- Ensure gas certification is up to date.
- Assist with other tasks within your skill set as required.
- Maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and training.
Skills and Experience Required:
- CCN1, CEN1, COCN1, CCCN1, CIGA1, CDGA, CIGA, COMCAT qualifications.
- Proven experience working with large commercial boilers and direct-fired AHUs.
- Experience with commercial catering gas is a bonus.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Organised and disciplined approach to work.
- Computer literate (Word, Excel).
