Blue Arrow are looking for a Printer / Print Finisher for our reputable client based in Glasgow.

This is temp to perm position, with a FT work offered for correct candidate after 12 weeks training period.

Pay Rate

  • 26000 p/a + 3000 shift allowance pro rata - DOE

Working days/hours

  • Weekly rotational shift pattern
  • Monday to Friday 6am to 2.30pm / Monday to Friday 1.30pm to 10pm

Experience required

  • Previous experience in large format printing sector
  • Very good attention to details
  • Experience in operating Swiss Q Durst H250 & Epson print machines - training provided if needed
  • Experience in operating Kongsberg & Zund DDC cutters - training provided if needed
  • Experience in operating laminating machinery and presses

Scope of daily duties

  • Operate, troubleshoot & manage finishing products using a range of manual and automated equipment and techniques to fulfill customer requirements.
  • To take ownership of jobs to ensure successful outcomes are achieved, meeting client expectations in terms of efficient delivery, quality and accurate adherence to specific instructions.
  • Ensure all tools and machinery are maintained and stored securely where appropriate
  • To understand and adhere to the Company work processes and service procedures.
  • Treat all materials, substrates and company equipment with care

Essential competencies

  • Effective and appropriate communication style
  • Demonstrate an approachable and helpful manner at all times
  • Ability to plan and organise workload
  • Ability to listen, understand, make suggestions and interpret requirements of customers and colleagues
  • Relevant experience in a similar role or environment in Print, POS, Display or manufacturing business.
  • Be familiar with Microsoft Outlook and how to download and send emails.
