SRG is assisting an innovative early-stage Scottish company in their search for a technology transfer technician.
The company specializes in digital and computer chemistry and is expanding its research and production capabilities.
The role involves working between hardware, software, and chemicals teams to ensure product testing, documentation, and maintenance.
Candidates should have a BSc in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, knowledge of organic synthesis, and basic coding skills, preferably in Python.
The salary for this position is competitive, and candidates should have relevant experience in the field.

The Role

As technology transfer technician you will work between the hardware, software & chemicals team to ensure that products are tested, documented & maintained, ready for use by the wider operations team. You will work closely with a wide array of technical colleagues to ensure product quality whilst ensuring delivery of new products & processes.

The right candidate

To be successful in this role you will;

Be educated to BSc level or above in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering
Have a working knowledge of organic synthesis from projects or work experience
Have a basic level understanding of computer coding (preferably Python)
Have a demonstrable interest in engineering
