NRL are supporting with a Major Tier 1 Contractor on their search for a Project Manager to work on a Major Project in Scotland.

You will plan, manage and deliver the Project safely and sustainably to programme, cost and quality.
You will have overall accountability for successful project delivery including; planning, design, delivery, monitoring, commissioning and handover/close out
Provide management and leadership to create an environment where a multi-disciplinary project team can thrive and succeed to achieve a common goal
Ensure effective management of client and stakeholders

The following qualities/experience are essential:
  • Experience of working on a variety of project types
  • Able to demonstrate a track record of project delivery
  • In depth understanding and practical experience of standard forms of contracts
  • Proficient in commercial/project management communications
  • Experience in implementing safe systems of work
  • Able to communicate effectively both verbal and written with all levels of the organisation
  • Communicate new concepts and ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Effective team management skills which empower, influence & inspire others to build effective teams. Providing mentoring and support to members of the team where required
  • Good knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics
  • Record of a solution-based approach to problem solving
  • Ability to see the business vision and inspire this shared vision amongst the team
  • Discuss ideas and plans competently and with confidence
  • Sponsor and promote project diversity and inclusion
  • Recognise and drive personal development with a learning mindset
  • Member of a professional management body i.e. APM
  • Proficient on O365
  • Holds a current driving licence

The role holder is likely to have one or more of the following:
  • Formal qualification in project management or equivalent experience
  • CSCS and SMSTS or Equivalent
