Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager (PM) to support a key client in Glasgow. This secondment opportunity involves overseeing critical site enhancement projects to align with Network and Information Security specifications. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of project activities, maintaining rigorous documentation, and driving stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate enhancements across 27 sites to meet Network and Information Security standards.
Review existing reports for each site to identify and define clear project scopes.
Prepare Formal Scope Documents for business sign-off, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
Provide clear and actionable instructions for design teams to advance concept designs and high-level cost estimates.
Schedule, chair, and document project meetings, ensuring effective communication and progress tracking.
Maintain and regularly update the project action tracker to ensure tasks are completed on time and to standard.
Oversee and manage the risk register, identifying potential issues and developing mitigation strategies.
Lead and coordinate mini-tender processes on a site-by-site basis, ensuring efficient procurement and vendor management.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in project management within infrastructure, utilities, or construction environments.
Strong knowledge of Network and Information Security standards and site enhancement methodologies.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills to manage multi-site projects effectively.
Ability to create, present, and secure approval for project scopes and technical documents.
Experience managing project trackers, risk registers, and leading project meetings.
Competence in managing procurement activities, including mini-tenders.
Availability to work full-time (5 days per week) with 3 days on-site in Glasgow and 2 remote working days.
