Location: Flexible home office location with 2-3 days in office per week (ideally Glasgow or Edinburgh), with ~2 days in Dublin every other week.

I am recruiting Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to join a major consultancy working on the Dublin Metrolink – one of the largest infrastructure projects in Europe!

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a project worth billions, shaping the future of transport in Ireland.

The role sits at the intersection of technical project management and stakeholder engagement, acting as the vital link between technical teams and key stakeholders, including community groups, government bodies, and private sector partners.

The project is currently in the procurement and contract preparation phase, involving multiple NEC 4 contracts and private partnership components. This position is ideal for someone looking to work on a mega-project with long-term impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key liaison between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and project alignment
  • Manage and support the procurement and contract preparation process (including NEC4 contracts)
  • Oversee design management, cost estimation, and contract strategy development
  • Engage with community and public stakeholders, representing the project and fostering positive relationships
  • Work within a large, multidisciplinary team of designers, project managers, commercial teams, and PMO specialists

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in project management within rail, metro, infrastructure, civil engineering, or construction ideal.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills/community engagement skills – ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • A background in civil engineering, transport planning, structures, or social sciences is beneficial.
  • Flexibility to travel to Dublin ~2 days every other week (can have home office anywhere in UK).
  • Passion for large-scale infrastructure projects and contributing to a high-profile, multi-billion-euro development.
