Due to large number of project awards, Deanston Cooper is currently recruiting for aCivils Project Manager towork for a high successful, privately owned Civil Engineering & Surfacing contractor based in Glasgow. Projects include highways, car parks, footpaths, cycle schemes and leisure.
Your duties as Project Manager will include:
- Planning the entire project delivery to meet contractual and industry standards
- Organisingthe resources so that suitable resources are available to deliver the project on time and defect free
- Coordinatingresources across the project and delivery objectives
- Monitoring the implementation of the QA system for quality control
- Taking corrective actions to improve the financial and commercial returns
- Coordinating with the commercial staff to ensure the resources, supply chain and contractual opportunities can be utilised to maximise returns
- Taking action to enhance client relationships
- Monitoring safety on site and feedback learnings into the business.

- A minimum qualification ofHNCCivil Engineering
- Experienceworkingat Site Agent or Project Manager levelfor another civil engineering contractor
- Experience of working on a variety of general civil engineering projects
- Excellent knowledge of safety and environmental legislation

- Excellent communication andman management skills
