Peace Recruitment is looking to recruit Project Manager for the leading service provider in the UK's water and wastewater infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on projects in the water, wastewater, power distribution, and petrochemical industries.
  • Oversee project delivery and manage the project team.
  • Handle project finances.
  • Contribute to internal and external reviews and progress meetings.
  • Participate in collaboration meetings with various engineering disciplines and professionals.
  • Review contracts and specifications.
  • Manage procurement and support subcontract procurement based on detailed specifications.
  • Record and review all project information.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, with support for professional registration.

Background

  • Experience in the water industry is advantageous.
  • Proficient with appropriate software packages.
  • Skilled in planning, specification, design procurement, and commissioning of projects.
  • Strong financial acumen related to projects.
  • Knowledgeable about NEC3/4 contracts.
  • Familiar with current legislation and able to work according to QA and H&S procedures.
  • Effective team player and independent worker.
  • Strong decision-making abilities and capacity to manage conflicting demands.
  • Excellent communication skills with clients, suppliers, contractors, and the design team.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
