Contract Senior Oracle Developer

Hybrid remote working in Glasgow (2 days a week onsite)

Up to £270 p/d Inside IR35

A global digital consultancy is looking to onboard multiple Contract Oracle Developers to join a long-term portfolio of work. The successful candidate will be required to be based onsite for at least Two days a week in the Glasgow HQ.

We are looking for candidates with strong experience in the following:

Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming experience

ETL or ETL solutions

Basic Pro*C experience

Any experience with PVCS, JIRA, Confluence, Java and/or Oracle Forms would be a bonus.

Youll be responsible for:

Full lifecycle development of the Oracle Database (Including Data Modelling, Database Architecture, SQL and PL/SQL development, Unit Testing and support)

Contribute towards the architecture and implementation of any changes across the product base.

Collaborate heavily with fellow developers, designers and analysts to solve problems.

Create and improve existing reusable database objects.

Optimise and tune SQL queries to maximize speed and scale.
