Anderson Knight are pleased to be partnering with our client in Glasgow for the appointment of a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis. This role will report directly to the Financial Controller and will involve direct engagement with senior leadership in a strategic capacity.

With exposure to critical projects, our client is looking for a commercially minded professional, able to engage with non-financial stakeholders, clearly articulating and translating complex financial data.

Duties will include:

  • Lead the design, development and review of business modelling to link with wider financial planning decisions.
  • Provide financial and commercial insight and challenge current financial performance.
  • Presenting and analysing financial data with operational stakeholders.
  • Provide analysis and deliver insight that links financial reports to business strategies, providing constructive challenge where necessary.
  • Prepare, consolidate and present forecasts, budgets and longer-term financial plans, working together with departments.
  • Build collaborative relationships with directors, managers and staff across the business and with relevant external partners to best serve the assigned departments and help develop the finance acumen of budget holders.

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified, with a minimum of years PQE, ideally within in manufacturing/FMCG environment. Please note this is not compulsory and our client will consider professionals from a practice background.
