Reed Finance is working exclusively with a client based in the Rutherglen area to recruit a Finance Business Partner. The role offers hybrid working and offers a 10% bonus and 6k car allowance. Our client is searching for a newly/recently qualified accountant with strong communication skills to engage with key stakeholders.

The role reports to the Senior FBP for the region and focuses on working closely with various business units to provide business partnering support.

The main responsibilities the position entails are:

  • Business partnering to sites within the region on their operational, commercial and financial performance including KPIs, forecasting, budgets, weekly and monthly reporting
  • Supporting the Senior FBP with investment appraisals, writing TARFs and tracking project spend.
  • Playing a key role in the month end process alongside the Accounting, Reporting and Control team.
  • Collaborating with site teams to ensure financial processes are adhered to and costs are controlled adequately
  • Working with the Financial Transactional Services (FTS) team and Business Support Coordinators to review and improve KPIs such as pending transactions and cash collection for the region.

To be considered for the role, you must possess the following:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ICAS)
  • Newly/recently qualified
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
