Reed Finance is working with a well-established service sector business and leader in their field, to recruit a Finance Business Partner. Our client is based in Glasgow City Centre and offers hybrid working with 2 days required in the office.

This newly created role reports directly to the Head of Finance. As a Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing strong financial reporting, analysis, and business partnering for the wider organisation. Your role will involve collaborating with non-finance stakeholders, preparing financial results and KPIs, and contributing to departmental growth.

The main responsibilities the position entails are:

  • Provide support and analysis to key stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Build strong strategic relationships with stakeholders
  • Lead business forecasting and contribute to setting targets for costs, savings, and opportunities
  • Lead on continuous improvement of departmental and finance information processes through seeking to develop best practise
  • Assist with routine preparation of monthly cashflows and management accounts
  • Ad hoc project work

To be considered for the role, you must possess the following:

  • Qualified accountant (ICAS,CIMA,ACCA)
  • Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner, FP&A or analytical role
  • Strong communication skills to deal with a variety of non-finance stakeholders
