A third-sector organisation in Glasgow is expanding its procurement team and is looking for a candidate with experience in Public Sector Procurement regulations, particularly in IT procurement.
The role involves liaising with stakeholders, managing contracts, and preparing tenders while ensuring best practices are followed.
Candidates should have prior experience in an IT category, excellent communication skills, and a CIPS qualification or be willing to pursue one.
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from £32,000 to £35,000, along with a generous pension contribution of 14.5% and 31 days of annual leave plus 11 bank holidays.

Utilising Public Sector Procurement regulations, specifically within IT procurement
Liaising with and guiding stakeholders through procurement best-practice
Identifying and mitigating supply chain risk
Preparing and assisting with tenders
Working collaboratively with internal teams to achieve collective goals
Managing and negotiating contracts

What you'll need to succeed

Experience with/knowledge of Public Sector Procurement Regulations
Previous experience within an IT category
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
CIPS qualification, or willingness to work towards
Practical knowledge of the tendering process
Right to work in the UK
