Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Deanston Cooper's client, a leading privately owned civil engineering contractor, has a current requirement for anAssistant QuantitySurveyorto work out of their Glasgow office on projects across Scotland.

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor working within the commercial team you will support the Commercial Manager by providing assistance with the following:

• Administrating contracts and issuing the correct contractual notices
• Producing integrated cost forecasts for projects
• Managing commercial issues related to withheld, disputed or disallowed costs
• Assisting with resolution of disputes and learning negotiation strategies
• Assisting with subcontract preparation following procurement
• Assessing interim and final accounts
• Pricing additional and varied works

• Recently qualified to a minimum level of HND Quantity Surveying
• Who have ideally but not essentially gained some experience working for a civil engineering contractor
