A well-established joinery sub-contractor in Glasgow is seeking a Quantity Surveyor.
The company has a turnover of approximately £17 million and collaborates with major Tier 1 contractors.
Key responsibilities include conducting quantity take-offs, pricing work packages, material procurement, and managing variations.
The position requires 2-3 years of experience in quantity surveying.

First Task are working with a well established joinery sub-contractor to source a Quantity Surveyor for their business in Glasgow.This company turnover c. 17m and work with the majority Tier 1 contractors to deliver internal partitions, drylining and joinery packages up to the value of 4m.

Working closely with the Commercial Director your responsibilities will include:

Conduct detailed quantity take-offs
Pricing various work packages based on project drawings and specifications
Material procurement
Pricing and management of variations
Preparing and submitting monthly valuations
Attending progress meetings
Negotiating final accounts
