Your new companyYou will be joining a leading provider in the UK water and wastewater infrastructure sectors. They specialise in the design, maintenance, and extension of water and wastewater assets. Their services range from repairing and maintaining existing water networks to installing and managing new capital projects and MEICAT (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation Technology) systems.

Your new roleAs Quantity Surveyor, you will be based in their Glasgow office and be responsible for, but not limited to, producing and providing accurate forecasts of project costs to completion/final value, monitoring cash flow and valuation plans, managing subcontract tender processes, managing subcontractor accounts as well as providing accurate reports of costs and values on the projects.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you will ideally have at least 2 years' experience surveying on heavy civils schemes, preferably in the water sector, and have a good understanding of NEC3 and/or NEC4 forms of contracts. In addition, you will have a degree/HND/HNC in Quantity Surveying (or experience equivalent) and be able to prioritise workloads and work within set deadlines. Finally, you will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
