GPW Recruitment is thrilled to present an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor. Based in Blantyre, Scotland, this role allows you to join a leading infrastructure services provider within the Energy Transmission & Distribution sector.

About the Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, youll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality Transmission Projects across the Central Scotland Area. Youll work closely with operational and commercial teams to ensure project success while maintaining excellent commercial standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple subcontract packages with a solid understanding of contractual obligations.
  • Produce accurate Forecasts/CVRs and utilize ERP systems (e.g., Coins, Causeway, SAP).
  • Deliver commercial reporting and contribute to exceptional project outcomes.
  • Travel regularly to sites and meetings as needed (a company car is provided).

What Were Looking For

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Background in utilities, infrastructure, or major projects.
  • Prior experience working with contractors is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  • Full UK driving license is essential.
