Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying and will play a key role in managing project costs, ensuring financial efficiency, and providing expert advice throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates and budgets for various projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to support project decision-making.
- Monitor project progress and financial performance, identifying and addressing any issues.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes.
- Prepare and review tender documentation, bids, and contractual agreements.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (RICS accreditation preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
