Our client is a major Commercial Building Contractor who now have now secured a pipeline of projects, each circa £10 - £30M within the Central belt of Scotland over the next 3-5 years.
The projects include Commercial Building, Healthcare and Education Schemes which have been designed by a highly experienced Design team of Architects and Engineers.
To support the existing Commercial management team, they now require an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a Tier 1 Main Contracting background to support the pre and post contract delivery of a range of Commercial Design & Build Projects throughout central Scotland..
The successful candidate will have the following experience and abilities:-
Minimum of 10 years with a commercial Contracting environment in a Senior Commercial role
Degree Qualified or equivalent in a relevant discipline
Experience of Commercial Design and Build Schemes desireable
Experience of a range of Contractual forms and agreements
Ability to relate well to internal colleagues and external clients
Network amongst the local Supply Chain would be of interest.
Commercial and contractual awareness to minimise risk to margin
The ability to manage works packages on project upwards of circa £10M
