Hays are delighted to be supporting a public sector organisation who are looking to recruit an HR Business Partner, until March 2025, to support the business during a period of increased work. This has the potential to be extended beyond this time period.
The business is looking to engage with a generalist HR professional who can cover the following duties and responsibilities:
- Coaching and supporting line managers with people issues
- Applying early intervention strategies to prevent escalation of issues
- Ability to manage own caseload
- Experience dealing with complex case work covering; long term absence, grievance, capability and gross misconduct up to dismissal
- Engaging with unions and maintaining positive working relations
- Have good systems knowledge
- Ability to interpret data to see trends and assist with decision making
