You may currently be working as Recruitment Consultant and looking for a better opportunity to progress into a leadership role with another company or you might be in a another sales focused role and keen to explore the world of a Recruitment Agency.

What does the role of a Managing Recruitment Consultant look like:

  • Building a prospective client list using various business development methods
  • Convert prospective clients using an effective sales strategy
  • Develop relationships via telephone and also face to face meetings
  • Negotiate fees and provide relevant market information
  • Source candidates for open roles via database searches, headhunting and advertising online
  • Qualify candidates by meeting them face to face and conducting a thorough CV discussion
  • Support candidates throughout the recruitment process including interview preparation and offer negotiation
  • Coach and mentor consultants in the team providing them with advice and support
  • Conduct monthly and weekly 121's with team
  • Daily and weekly check in with team members
  • Attend leadership meetings within the business
  • Support with organising events for wider office and team

Skills required:

  • Recruitment or sales experience, ideally within a fast paced environment
  • Management experience
  • A hunger for sales and business development with the ability to nurture relationships
  • Being adaptable and working strategically (and at pace!), with good time management and a positive attitude
  • Passionate, driven and tenacious
  • Confident with the ability to build rapport with people at all levels
