We're seeking a skilled Civil Bias Estimator to join a leading rail and infrastructure solutions provider, known for delivering high-quality civil engineering projects across Scotland. This role offers the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team, contributing to a wide range of civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Accurately estimating costs for civil engineering works, including earthworks, drainage, structures, and foundation work.
- Collaborating with project teams to assess project requirements and prepare bids.
- Conducting site visits, understanding project scopes, and compiling accurate cost estimates.
- Working with procurement to source and price materials and liaise with suppliers.
- Preparing and presenting cost reports to management and assisting in budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an estimator in civil engineering, ideally with rail or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and costs.
- Proficiency in estimating software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
