The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading distribution partner of Renewable Energy Equipment, to be based out of Glasgow.

Job Overview:
As the Business Development manager based in the Glasgow area, you will be responsible to be prospecting new business revenue, with new and existing accounts.

Some of your duties will include:
As a BDM your responsibilities will include the account management and business development of an established customer base based in the UK as well as pro-actively looking for new business in the various sectors, we operate in.
You will be expected to spend 3-4 days every week on customer visits selling all the benefits of the company, its products & services.
To build and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing customers and proactively identify new sales opportunities in conjunction with our leading manufacturers.
To collaborate fully with the company?s internal Sales and Operations Team.

What do you need to succeed?
At least 3 years of Experience as an Account Manager or External sales would be preferred but not essential
Have a technical skill in electronics/power engineering would is preferred but not essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent negotiation and customer service skills
Strong work ethic and have good planning and organisational skills
Commercially focused delivering Revenue and margin targets
