This temporary role, lasting until the end of August, offers a hybrid work arrangement.Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pmHourly Rate: £12.46 per hourAs the Finance Assistant, you will support reconciliations and organise the business bank accounts in preparation for the year-end.Key Duties:- Provide prompt customs clearance instructions to shipping agents- Efficiently manage the University's Import mailbox- Maintain accurate data input and records for auditing purposes- Reconcile import logs with HMRC deferment statements- Collaborate with Finance Office teams for refund reallocation- Handle enquiries regarding customs procedures and documentation requirementsWe are seeking candidates with:- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills- Effective communication abilities with internal and external stakeholders- Experience in administrative or accounting roles with outstanding customer service- Proficiency in meeting deadlines and self-developmentFor further details or to apply, please contact Eilidh Smith at / .
