Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Security Supervisor to join our passionate and driven Security team based at our client’s site in Glasgow City Centre

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide front-line management to all security operation
• Full working knowledge of security procedures and protocols
• Act as the designated first responder to all incidents.
• Undertake effective investigations and produce well written incident reports.
• Conduct appraisals, and first line management of on site team.
• Complete site-based rostering and contribute to the effective control of pre-planned/reactive absence.
• Ensure all procedures, assignment instructions, risk assessments and protocols are created and followed  in conjunction with Operations Manager
• Delivery and recording of all training requirements, ensuring each team member has an individual training plan.
• To encourage a stable team environment among all staff.
• Represent OCS in daily / weekly meetings with on site client

About You:

• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
• Corporate security supervisory experience.
• CCTV license would be an advantage.
• Competent level skills in core IT Applications.
• Ability to organise, lead and motivate a team over a varied shift pattern of days, nights and weekends.
• Ability to create and deliver training to onsite team.
• The ability to be flexible and positive, demonstrating a can-do attitude.
• Excellent standard of verbal and written communication skills.
• Work in conjunction with OCS colleagues to deliver excellent customer service skills.
• Commitment to excellent attendance and time keeping.
• Be able to lead by example.
• Good Organisational skills
• Represent both OCS and client in a positive manner.
• Must have a valid SIA Licence
