We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various machining tools and equipment, ensuring precision and quality in the production of components. Duties

  • Operate and maintain a variety of machining tools, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce high-quality components.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in training new staff on machining processes and safety protocols.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Machinist or similar role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with sewing machinery is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
