BAE SYSTEMS in Govan is seeking Sheet Metal Workers with a background in shipbuilding or heavy industry.
The pay rate for this position ranges from £19.40 to £35.62 per hour.
Candidates should have experience in basic hand skills, including burning and chamfering various gauges and types of plate and extrusions.
Flexibility in work hours is offered, including day, night, and weekend shifts, with a significant demand for overtime available.
Applicants are expected to have NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualifications, and an updated CV should be submitted for consideration.

Sheet Metal Workers are required at BAE SYSTEMS - GOVAN.

The pay rate ranges from £19.40 to £35.62 per hour.
Shipbuilding or heavy industry background required.
What You’ll be Doing
• Understand and follow written and/or oral instructions
• Have all the basic hand skills, i.e. burning & chamfering of various gauges and types of plate and extrusions
• Ability to accurately mark out sheet plate/extrusions
• Correct use of grinders and associated consumables whilst adhering to the HAVS regulations
• Experience in use of strong-backs and fairing aids to prevent distortion
