We currently have a temporary opportunity to work with a small Glasgow based charity on a month to month basis.

As service manager your duties will be to:

  • Ensure the values, philosophy, and underpinning principles of the charity are integral to the services and work practices.
  • Provide line management support to the designated staff, including providing supervision support and appraisals.
  • Ensure all funding outcomes, for the relevant staff responsibilities, are achieved and the right level of staff cover is in place.
  • Network with other agencies and to represent the charity
  • Support organisations to link into the range of relevant services on offer to promote and respond to survivors needs.
  • Raise awareness of the prevalence of sexual abuse and the links to homelessness with relevant agencies and individuals.
  • Provide support, information, advice, and act as a consultant to staff in youth housing and other relevant agencies who are working with or likely to have contact with survivors of sexual abuse.
  • Ensure the well being of staff is highlighted and actions taken to embrace and embed a healthy ethos.

To be considered for the role you must have previous management experience. The role will be to start ASAP.
