We are currently seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team to work with people facing homelessness in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing support to individuals in supported accommodation and have knowledge of the challenges that people experiencing homelessness can face. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives and contribute to their well-being.

Responsibilities
Support people to utilise the support available to them, i.e benefits and local groups
Support people to develop the necessary skills to manage and maintain a tenancy
i.e - Opening Mail, Paying Bills, Door Management, buying, storing and cooking food.
Provide emotional support and companionship

Requirements
Previous experience in healthcare or social care, ideally with a background in homelessness
Excellent communicator with the ability to build meaningful connections
6 months minimum Care experience in the uk (within the last year)
