Full Stack Developer (Hybrid 2 days per fortnight onsite - Glasgow)

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering market-leading digital products to enhance customer experiences and drive business growth. By placing users at the centre of all we do, you'll help transform the customer journey and contribute to impactful, high-profile projects. You'll be working with a passionate, talented team focused on delivering quality solutions and solving challenging problems the right way, while also fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing.

Core Responsibilities

• Programming & Development: Design, code, test, document, and refactor complex applications and services. Utilise best practices, tools, and security measures to deliver high-quality, maintainable code. Conduct code reviews for both your own work and your peers'.
• Software Design: Collaborate with your team to design software components, define interfaces, and explore solution options. Ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements for security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Database Management: Contribute to designing and supporting database solutions with a focus on performance optimization and data security, especially using SQL-based technologies.
• Systems Build: Build seamless integrations across multiple platforms to ensure reliable system interactions.
• Continuous Delivery (CI/CD): Enhance deployment pipelines through automation and efficiency. Leverage CI/CD practices with tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub to support secure and reliable releases.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with C# and .NET technologies, as well as React and Next.js for front-end development.
• Strong understanding of web application architecture for both cloud-based and on-premise environments.
• Experience working with SQL databases, focusing on performance optimization and data security.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure, Kubernetes, and Azure SQL.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies and practices, with a collaborative and flexible mindset.
• Experience in CI/CD processes, automation (e.g., Infrastructure as Code), and collective code ownership using tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with additional technologies such as Java, Swift, and AWS is beneficial, especially when working on modernizing legacy systems.

Salary up to 60k depending on experience.
