Description
- Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the IT systems that support core organizational functions.
- Monitor, maintain and optimize all networked software and associated operating systems.
- Apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve set objectives and ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and implement new strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks.
- Provide on-call technical support.
- Stay current with technological developments in systems administration technology and recommend ways for the organization to take advantage of new technology.
Profile
A successful IT Systems Engineer should have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Proficient knowledge of databases.
- SQL Server management experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
