Our client is seeking an experienced PHP Developer with strong expertise in the Yii framework and SQL.
The position is a 6-month contract, likely to extend, requiring 2 days on-site in Glasgow each week.
Key responsibilities include developing, testing, and maintaining web applications, as well as optimizing SQL Server databases.
The role offers a day rate of up to £450 and is classified as outside of IR35.
Candidates must have proven experience as a PHP Developer and be able to commute to Glasgow, as no sponsorship is available.

Our client is seeking an experienced PHP Developer to join their internal team working on a critical project. You must have strong expeirence within Yii framework and a solid working experience with SQL. 6 month contract which is likely to extend with 2 days on site in Glasgow per week. Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP and the Yii Framework.
Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code while adhering to best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
Maintain and optimise SQL Server databases for performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot and debug application issues to ensure smooth operation.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as a PHP Developer, with a strong portfolio of Yii Framework projects.
Solid understanding of SQL Server, including database design, optimisation, and queries.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
