ABOUT THE CLIENT
My client is a mid-size IT Consultancy going from strength to strength. They work with a diverse range of clients across Financial Services, Renewables, Healthcare. This role will require you to go through Security Clearance. Therefore, you must hold British Citizenship.
All the teamwork adhering to best in industry techniques such as TDD, CI and Paired Programming.

THE JAVA DEVELOPER ROLE:
You'll be joining a Financial Service client in Glasgow, 2 days per week onsite.
You will work alongside fellow Developers, Tech Leads, and Data Scientists. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating standardized language and framework blueprints, introducing industry-standard development tools, and developing internal tools and libraries as needed. Specifically, we are seeking someone who is eager to become the firm's primary point of contact for our R language user community, which primarily consists of data scientists, researchers, quantitative strategists, and business analysts.
