Python Developer - DLP - 12 month contract - Glasgow Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Are you a skilled Python Developer with a passion for Cyber Security / Data Loss Prevention (DLP)? I have an immediate opportunity for a talented individual to join a growing team to support the DLP programme of our client in central Glasgow.

I am keen to speak with candidates who have

  • Solid experience in Python development, including frameworks and tools.
  • Experience with libraries such as Pytest, Requests, Logging, HTTPx, FastAPI.
  • Experience of working in DevOps environments, including familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation.
  • Knowledge of containerization such as Docker, Podman, Kubernetes.
  • Comfortable working with Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
  • Understanding of essential cyber security controls and techniques.

Desirable skills would include:

  • Experience with DLP Solutions, e.g. Symantec, Microsoft, Netskope, Proofpoint DLP.
  • Knowledge of Terraform, OPA, HashiCorp Sentinel.
  • Familiarity with Splunk, Archer, HIVE.
  • Experience with cloud technologies
  • RDBMS experience, e.g. Oracle, MSSQL, etc.
