Python Developer - DLP - 12 month contract - Glasgow Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Are you a skilled Python Developer with a passion for Cyber Security / Data Loss Prevention (DLP)? I have an immediate opportunity for a talented individual to join a growing team to support the DLP programme of our client in central Glasgow.

I am keen to speak with candidates who have

Solid experience in Python development, including frameworks and tools.
Experience with libraries such as Pytest, Requests, Logging, HTTPx, FastAPI.
Experience of working in DevOps environments, including familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation.
Knowledge of containerization such as Docker, Podman, Kubernetes.
Comfortable working with Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
Understanding of essential cyber security controls and techniques.

Desirable skills would include:

Experience with DLP Solutions, e.g. Symantec, Microsoft, Netskope, Proofpoint DLP.
Knowledge of Terraform, OPA, HashiCorp Sentinel.
Familiarity with Splunk, Archer, HIVE.
Experience with cloud technologies
RDBMS experience, e.g. Oracle, MSSQL, etc.
