Senior Developer - Glasgow - 6 Month Contract
Lorien's Public Sector client are currently recruiting for a Senior Developer to join on a 6 month initial contract, outside IR35.
The successful candidate will have the following skills/knowledge:
- Experience of working with and building Java and Spring Boot based microservices
- Experience of working with public cloud technologies (i.e. AWS, Azure)
- Experience of TDD and Unit-Test tooling
- Experience of acting in a position of seniority within engineering teams within Government projects to deliver/enhance public facing services
- Familiar with JavaScript and best-practice approaches
- Demonstrable experience in mentoring and conducting knowledge transfer to junior permanent in-house staff
Desirable Skills:
- Experience of working with Terraform scripts
- Experience of working with TypeScript
- Experience of working with MariaDB or MySQL
- Experience with Linux based shell scripting
- Experience with Government security control requirements
- BPML and Business Process tooling
