Senior Middleware EngineerGlasgow (Remote)£432 p/d inside IR35 Our client is looking for Senior Engineer with strong Middleware expertise to join their Technology Operations & Cyber Security team. You'll work across critical systems, contributing to both project delivery and business-as-usual activities.What you'll do:
- Take ownership of project tasks and drive them to completion
- Collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality service outcomes
- Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement
- Ensure solutions align with operational and strategic goals
- Support key business systems, including certificate renewals and deployment changes
- Provide excellent customer service, working with internal and external stakeholders
What you'll bring:
- Deep knowledge of Middleware technologies such as:
- IBM Integration Bus (IIB) / ACE / MQ
- WebLogic
- JBoss 7 & 8
- Windows & RHEL OS
- Dynatrace
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ownership mindset with flexibility for out-of-hours project support when needed It would be advantageous if you had Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server (ND), Familiarity with J2EE Web Application Containers, Understanding of banking operations, Knowledge of ITIL processes (Change, Incident & Problem Management).Please send your CV for consideration
