The Service Engineer will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and service to clients including troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment, as well as ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities of the Service Engineer will include:
- Handle and respond to client incidents via call and attempt to troubleshoot and resolve over the phone
- Be able to respond to a client incident by travelling to sites at short notice and trying to resolve the incident
- Liaise with Clients to arrange planned trips and organise their specific requirements
- Mentor and guide junior engineers
- Drive technical discussions with the project teams and identify and resolve technical issues
We would be keen to speak with Service Engineers with the following:
- Proven experience as a Service Engineer or similar role
- Specific working knowledge and expertise in PLCs
- Familiarity with and experience in the application of system integration processes, tools, and technologies
- Experience of software development/hardware integration
- Experience working on client sites
Due to the nature of this role, you will need a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
