Head of Engineering (VP) - Six figure package - 5 days on-site.
Our client, an established fintech company about to enter an exciting period of growth are seeking a hands on Vice President of Engineering to lead their engineering team and align technical strategies with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the engineering team in developing scalable software solutions.
- Oversee the architecture and coding of projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Manage the entire development cycle, from planning to deployment.
- Implement and advocate for agile methodologies to enhance project tracking and delivery.
- Integrate third-party software solutions and coordinate with vendors to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical strategies with business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Hands on skills in (most) SQL Server, Azure Durable Functions, Azure Key Vault, Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Azure Web Apps, React, Redux, Typescript, HTML, CSS
- Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role.
- Strong background in software architecture and development.
- Expertise in agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with integrating third-party software and coordinating with vendors.
- Proficiency in Azure technologies and cloud-based solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
