Forklift Truck/Yard Operator – 6-Month Contract (Inside IR35)

Rate: £14.00 per hour PAYE
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (6-hour shifts between 6:30am – 4:30pm, rota-based)
Our client is seeking a reliable Forklift Truck/Yard Operator for their site in Bargeddie. This is a 30-hour per week role offered on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Forklift Truck/Yard Operator Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift truck safely and efficiently.
- Carry out yard duties as required.
- Use hand-held scanning devices (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Support operational tasks and assist with team duties when required.
- Work flexibly, including covering shifts during staff absence.
Forklift Truck/Yard Operator Requirements:
- Valid FLT licence.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong team player with good communication skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work at pace.
- IT literate and comfortable using scanning devices.
- Committed to maintaining safe working practices.
