Senior Consultant - Business Analyst - Payments SME

Imagine being part of a dynamic, fast-growing team where you're at the heart of delivering cutting-edge financial technology solutions to global clients. As a Senior Consultant, you'll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on some of the world's leading financial institutions. Every day, you'll be helping clients navigate complex challenges and shape innovative solutions, from inception to implementation.

If you're someone who thrives on solving problems, leading diverse teams, and collaborating with clients to deliver outstanding results, this is the opportunity for you.

Your Role:

In this role, you'll play a critical part in our journey to transform how financial data is managed. You'll work directly with clients to understand their unique needs and design solutions that drive real business value. You'll take ownership of the project from the very beginning-leading workshops, gathering requirements, and crafting detailed solutions that address client pain points. And as the implementation unfolds, you'll guide the process, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and aligns with what the client expects.

As a Senior Consultant, you will be:

  • The Bridge Between Clients and Solutions: You'll lead workshops to gather requirements, uncover challenges, and document the "As-Is" processes. Your goal is to ensure that we design solutions that truly meet the needs of the client, aligning with both their business objectives and the technical possibilities.
  • A Trusted Advisor: During the implementation phase, you'll act as the customer's voice, ensuring that the solution we're building is exactly what they envisioned. You'll work alongside our Development, Test, and Project Management teams, making sure everyone is aligned and moving toward the same goal.
  • A Problem Solver: When challenges arise (and they will), you'll be there, proactively addressing issues, finding solutions, and managing customer queries to keep the project on track. You'll monitor progress, handle deviations from the plan, and help adjust the course as necessary.
  • A Mentor and Leader: You won't be alone in this journey. You'll guide and motivate your team, ensuring everyone is working efficiently and effectively. You'll provide leadership and support, helping them deliver top-quality solutions while keeping the client's best interests at the forefront.

About you:

We're looking for someone who is not just technically capable, but also deeply passionate about delivering impactful solutions to our clients. Ideally, you'll have:

  • A strong background in FinTech, SaaS, or financial services, with an in-depth understanding of payments systems and financial reconciliation processes ideally.
  • The ability to lead customer workshops, gather detailed requirements, and produce comprehensive documentation that serves as the foundation for the solution design.
  • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work across multiple teams, juggling competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A natural ability to present and collaborate with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally, ensuring that all perspectives are aligned and considered.

In return:

  • A salary up to 56,000 based on experience.
  • Performance-based bonuses, so you can share in the success you help create.
  • Flexible working arrangements to fit your lifestyle, whether that's working from home or in the office.
  • Private healthcare coverage for you and your dependents
  • Other great benefits like life insurance, income protection, a cycle-to-work scheme, and more!

If you're ready to take the next step in your career and help shape the future of financial technology, then please send a copy of your latest CV or call for a confidential discussion.
