Theatre Nurse - Glasgow

The Role

As part of their surgical team, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in the theatre setting.
  • Assist in surgical procedures while maintaining a safe, sterile environment.
  • Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Monitor patients throughout their procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with the surgical team for efficient patient care.
  • Follow strict infection prevention and control protocols.
  • Accurately document patient information while maintaining confidentiality.

About You

Our client is looking for professionals with:

  • Previous experience as a Theatre Practitioner or in a similar role (preferred).
  • Experience in ophthalmology (a strong advantage).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and critical care principles.
  • Proven ability to analyse situations and make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Expertise in maintaining a sterile environment and infection prevention practices.
  • Basic Life Support certification (essential).
