Job description

First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a Pump Fitter to join an established and growing company in the Glasgow region for a permanent role. Our client is a water utilities company, dedicated to the supply of water to Scotland.

You will be expected to work with minimal supervision, across the business, with a high quality of care.

What's on Offer:

  • £18-£22/hr subject to experience
  • Straight to permanent role
  • 39hr work week over 5 days
  • 1.5X for Overtime

Essential criteria, skills, experience and knowledge requirements:

The successful candidate must have:

  • Prior 4 years experience in Pump Fitting
  • Own transport (candidate will drive to workshop and then use company van to travel to client sites. Back home everyday.)
  • A time served apprenticeship in an engineering related role.
  • Must be able to completely disassemble, troubleshoot and re-assemble medium to large scale industrial pumps.
