Job Title: Senior Estimator
Location: East Kilbride
Salary: 50,000 - 80,000p/a
The Company
A UK leading steelwork contractor is looking for a Senior Estimator to work in their office in East Kilbride as part of their team on several projects in the construction sector. This is a great opportunity to work for a leader in the steelwork industry with projects around the UK.
The Role
As a Senior Estimator, you'll be planning job timescales and ensuring all tender returns meet the client's requirements and make the company fully aware of any risks or opportunities involved in each tender. You'll be researching materials, equipment and labour costs and assessing information. In addition, you'll be preparing and submitting quotations for work and communicating to the client during the tender and pre award periods, including technical queries and attendance at meetings.
The Person
To be successful in the role of Senior Estimator, you'll need to have experience of a similar role within an engineering organisation on construction projects. Experience within Structural Steel Estimaating would be looked upon favourably.
The Package
As a Senior Estimator, you'll be on a salary of up to 80,000 depending on experience. In addition, there's other non-tangible benefits such as pension, other work schemes and commitment to your development, both in terms of your skills and career progression.
