- To lead the overall Sales and Operational Planning Process across both manufacturing sites
- To partner with the Commercial and Operational teams to ensure the forecasting process delivers an agreed upon, workable volume forecast
- To lead weekly S&OP review meetings, ensuring all necessary data and metrics are available for review
- Communicating key conclusions from S&OP meetings to stakeholders
- Recommend and maintain optimal inventory levels at various stages in the supply chain
- Ensure that all business planning tools used in sales and operations are accurate, updated, maintained and available for use by key users and senior management
- Analyse promotional requests and sign-off based on volume forecast and capacity.
- Actively work with manufacturing to identify capacity constraints.
- Influence operational plans and material write offs as well as Supply Chain KPI’s.
- Develop and maintain a rolling forecast and drive the entire forecasting process for the business.
- Work with the Group Procurement Manager to evaluate supplier delivery performance and capability
- A successful track record within food manufacturing or other FMCG operation.
- Demonstrable experience of previous implementation of a formal Sales & Operations Planning process.
- An outstanding team worker with the ability to resolve problems collaboratively.
- Ability to convert data and findings into applied, specific information making suggestions that add value to the business planning process.
- Knowledge of and ability to make projections into the future and use these projections to help plan future operations.
- Commercially astute.
