Harvey Nash's client is seeking an Infrastructure Designer for an initial 6-month contract.
The role involves developing and governing infrastructure designs that are cost-effective and reliable, aligned with architectural strategies.
Candidates should have experience with operating systems, services, databases, messaging/collaboration tools, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
The position requires at least 5 years of relevant experience and offers a salary of £500-£600 per day.
This role is inside IR35 and is fully remote.

Harvey Nash's client is recruiting for an Infrastructure Designer on an initial 6 month contract. You will develop and govern high-level and detailed infrastructure designs, ensuring cost-effective, reliable solutions aligned with architectural strategies and roadmaps. You will also provide consultancy on project estimates, design impacts, and the adoption of standards and emerging technologies.

Key skills/experience:

Knowledge to support the design & architectural governance process, demonstrating technical experience in the following :-

Operating systems; Windows Server, Red Hat Linux
Services; TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory
Database; Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle
Messaging/Collaboration; Exchange, MS Teams, Sharepoint/Sharepoint Online
Virtualisation; VMWare ESXi
Desktop; Windows
Cloud & Azure knowledge

The skills to support & deliver continuous improvement within the organisation's capabilities.
