Contracts Manager - IT Supplier Management - 6 month contract (inside IR35) - Glasgow HybridAre you an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in IT Supplier Management within the public sector and/or secure services suppliers? I have a brand-new opportunity to join a busy procurement team managing critical supplier relationships and ensuring value-for-money procurement in a highly regulated environment.Due to the urgency of this role and the nature of our work, candidates who currently hold SC Clearance will be strongly preferred.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage IT supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023.
- Drive supplier performance, governance, and risk management to ensure contract deliverables align with business goals.
- Provide commercial oversight to ensure best value procurement and supplier relationships.
- Contract negotiations and dispute resolution processes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with legal, procurement, and IT teams to ensure contract compliance and mitigate risks.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in contract and supplier management within the IT and public sector space.
- Strong commercial and procurement experience, with expertise in contract negotiation and dispute resolution.
- In-depth knowledge of Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a busy and highly regulated environment.
- MCIPS (Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) and / or ICM (Institute of Commercial Management) qualification.
- Prior experience working with secure service supply partners.
